“Wings over Wendy’s”

"Wings Over Wendy's" is an informal group of 60 to 70 aviation enthusiasts--mostly senior military, with some civilian--that meets EVERY Monday (rain or shine, including holidays) from 9-11 a.m in West Hills, California, at the Wendy's restaurant located 1/2 block north of Victory Blvd. on Platt Ave. (West Hills is at the west end of the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles.)

Pilots, aircrew, and wannabees past and present are welcome. Doughnut and milk, soft drink, tea, or coffee (and FREE refills) for seniors - only 60-cents! Also, free raffle with multiple donated prizes. Microphone for announcements and stories. No politics, religion or profanity from the microphone.

No membership fee, no treasury, no formalities. The group was organized by Fred Blechman, who is a former Navy F4U Corsair pilot with over 1,000 magazine articles and eight books to his credit.
